Economical Floor Locks provide the most effective braking and blocking. When the floor lock is extended, the rubber pad is in direct contact with the floor. When turned on, the rolling stock is fixed in position. Our medium duty industrial floor locks are designed to work with medium duty industrial series casters. They are available in 4", 5", 6" and 8" sizes. They all have a 4" x 4-1/2" top plate, just like our range of medium duty industrial rollers.

 

This 6" industrial Economical Floor Locks is designed to work with our 2" wide industrial casters with an overall height of 7-1/4" (7.25"). Floor locks provide reliable braking and blocking of the mobile cart. When the floor lock is extended, the rubber pad contacts the floor directly (the extended height is slightly higher to ensure a good grip on the floor). When turned on, the rolling stock is fixed in position. Usually only one floor lock is needed when using a trolley with swivel and hard corner castors (better placement between swivel casters), but floor locks can also be used in combination with swivel and/or brake casters only (we offer both types of swivel casters). and rigid brake rollers for added lock-up security). When used with all swivel casters, two floor locks (placed on opposite sides of the longer cart sections) are recommended. Our industrial Economical Floor Locks are also available in 4", 5", 6" (for 7.5" and 8" wheels). All have a 4" x 4-1/2" top plate and are zinc plated. Our industrial casters 2" wide for long lasting performance benefits.
